The PSO is parent powered but all volunteers must complete the following processes EVERY school year to be eligible to help on campus, with field trips, and at special events. Thank you for your time and support. Your time and effort help make our school an incredible community.
View the Parent Volunteer Training slide show.
Complete the Volunteer Training Questions.
Complete the Online Background Check. (cost - $6)
This process must be done EVERY school year. It should take less than 30 minutes to complete.
Thanks for helping keep our campus safe.
What should I wear?
Dress for the event. If you will be on campus during the school day please avoid rips, tears and outfits that limit your ability to do the job assigned.
How do I start and finish my day?
ALL volunteers MUST sign in and out at the Upper School front desk by presenting a valid ID to the secretary.
We have started a new system for volunteers to earn credits through their service. Contact Raquel Bourne to connect to this system.
If you are volunteering at the end of the school day, the coordinator for your volunteer session can help you get your students released to go
home with you.
Parking
Parking on campus is limited. Do not park in labeled spots (student or faculty) at any time. Only use end of field parking or other areas if absolutely necessary. Parking on the street is at your own risk. Please do NOT park in surrounding parking lots, we have damaged our relationship with surrounding businesses doing this.
Siblings and Other Children
In general this is not allowed, especially during the normal school day. However, there are circumstances that could be considered and you should contact the person that is coordinating the volunteer activity you are doing.
Phones
Volunteers should NOT use their cell phones except for emergency communication during the day. At NO TIME should a volunteer take pictures or video of students, especially not to share publically.
Privacy
Please remember that, although we are serving the school, we are still guests. Please act in goodwill and bring cheer to the work that you do. Do not share information you gather from the work that you are doing. Honoring others' privacy is an important part of keeping a safe campus. Please stay in areas that pertain to the work that your a completing.

ALL school fundraising.
Fundraising and Community Engagement
Fundraising Annual Campaign and Events
This campaign closes the funding gap between state support (determined by attendance) and the resources required to provide a top-teir education. As a charter school we do NOT receive local tax dollars. This averages to about $1200/ scholar annually.
Community Investment = Financial Support
