Spartan Dad's Group
At Great Hearts Western Hills each scholar is assigned to a house when they are in 5th grade. There are 4 houses and 2 divisions - Middle Earth and Narnia.
HOUSE PARENTS
Help scholars by attending house council meetings, gathering supplies, advising in money matters.
Help parents know what house activities are happening through GroupMe and provide ways to support events.
The Houses
The Houses
Each student stays with their assigned house throughout their years at GHWH Upper School. Scholars participate in a variety of activities through this program. The program is run by the House Governors and is responsible for:
House Council - an elected body that helps plan and host dances, Winter Haus Fest, Intramural Booths and similar activities
House Activities - every Friday students engage with their house in games, planning activities and learning opportunitites.
Athletic and Academic Field Day - houses compete against each other in braun and brains to see who will be this year's champion
House Banquet - the last day of school the winner of the House Cup is announced at sit down lunch to celebrate a year of fun, hard work and good sportsmanship.

Volunteers help students use the library and check books in and out. We also have 2 bookfairs each year - one in November and one in March.

Volunteers can support teachers by completing copy room tasks for them.

We LOVE our teachers! We regularly host teacher luncheons, provide snacks and find other ways to fuel and encourage our teachers. This group also joins campuses across America as they give thanks for great teachers the first full week of May.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found
Two to three times a year we sell used uniforms to our families. These volunteers collect, sort, store and then sell these items to our families. They also help maintain our lost and found area.
